Podcasting is not just my day job
I invest in People who want to create change with their Podcast.
Since 2020 I have been working in podcast production for myself, interrogating the improvement of audio and self-teaching the different approaches, technologies and cultures in podcast development and post-production.
As a Certified Podcast Engineer (2022) trained by Tanner Campbell (Practical Stoicism), I now provide my services to others.
I am well-versed with Izotope RX & Waves Plugins, and make effective use of Generative A.I. tools for audio reproduction, repair and for content development. My main editing applications are Adobe Audition and Davinci Resolve, but I am also familiar with most web-based recording and editing applications.
Where I differ from many podcast editors is that I like to invest in people. This means that while I have fees for my services, I will select my clients only after a discussion about what they want to achieve, what they need and how my skills can add to their podcast team dynamic. I have worked with many clients to take their recorded conversations and transform them into an engaging, high-quality audio or video experience for their audience, and I believe that investing more than just money and expertise is important to the success of a show.
Teaching and Learning is my Mission.
In my life before Podcasting, I was a Corporate and Education IT Professional…
…where I empowered Teachers, Project Managers, Government Teams and more to get the most out of their technology for their desired purpose. Troubleshooting technology issues reactively and getting the most out of your tools proactively are incredibly important skills that I can assist and teach you to accomplish in our increasingly digital world.
With a Masters of Teaching (Secondary) from a pre-eminent teritary institution in Melbourne, Australia, I am skilled in working with clients to solve immediate technology issues and build a curriculum or workflow to establish outstanding results and use the tech to its potential.
Digital Wellbeing & Productivity is Crucial
In a new world of remote work, our digital and physical health has never been more important.
I bring my ability to address the cognitive biases and behaviours that we naturally gravitate towards in digital technologies into podcasting and our approach to podcast work.
I love creating learning opportunities with anyone who has trouble tapping into their potential by sharing about my understanding of systems thinking and workflows, as it comes to bear against your habits of digital wellbeing that may not be doing you the favours you expect.
Your health and longevity is a priority in podcasting and digital work.
